Matthew Hill is a freelance writer who hails from Houston, Texas and moved to New Orleans four years ago. Having started his life as a chef, Matt decided to hang up his chopping knives for dusty old books and completed his Masters Degree in Philosophy from Tulane University. Having worked in Ethics and Philosophy of Gender (as well as having taught Tulane's first ever Philosophy of Race course), Matt is now a Trans Rights advocate and educator. In his free time, Matt enjoys trashy sci-fi novels, drinking too much coffee and going way too hard for his age at metal shows.
